Perth at crossroads
This month brings with it a momentous crossroads for our beloved State capital — a local election.
Will the City of Perth’s ratepayers decide that the capital should forge ahead, continuing with the work to expand the global admiration for our face-lifted image that’s been achieved over the past decade? The alternative is morale-sapping — to become a victim of greedy, witch-hunters, of ego-bloated manipulators with tunnel vision and parochial attitudes.
In casting our vote at the crossroads, the power of reflection allied with positive thinking is needed, so that our decisions will bring pride along the road ahead. RON WILLIS Mt Lawley
