Finn white line
While in Helsinki, Finland, I was impressed with the way they separate cyclists from cars and pedestrians.
There are paths for cyclists and pedestrians next to roads, and I noticed the majority of cyclists weren’t wearing helmets. I asked if there were many accidents involving cyclists and cars, and the answer was “virtually none”. Why can’t we have decent bike lanes on our major roads, instead of all the road narrowing we now have? KAYE ROSS Balcatta
