BELLES OF THE FOOTY BALL
MODEL Isabella Carlstrom has spoken of the happiness she shares with AFLW star Moana Hope and of finding herself labelled a WAG after they made their red carpet debut at the Brownlow Medal.
Carlstrom and Hope had been seeing each other since the start of the year but decided to make their relationship public at footy’s biggest night. Their striking appearance on the red carpet (inset below) was one of the stand-out images of the evening.
“It was a really big moment for us, but we had been together for a while before that and we hadn’t really said anything about it, and we just wanted to be us, out and about as a couple,” Carlstrom said. “And it was really lovely . . . AFL is such a big part of her (Moana’s) life and it was very special to be there with her. I am just so excited about the positive reaction that came from all of it, it has been really nice.” As for being a WAG, it is not a label she has embraced. “A WAG, that was hysterical,” Carlstrom said.
And she also laughed off those who referred to her as Hope’s friend rather than partner.
“It is the 21st century, 2017, and everybody just needs to get on board and get with it,” said Carlstrom, who urged people to vote yes in the marriage survey.
Carlstrom is represented by Vivien’s Models and is the new face of Jaggad athletic wear.
