Two hurt in crash

TWO peo­ple were taken to hos­pi­tal af­ter a se­ri­ous car crash in Treeby on Fri­day.

A 38-year-old man was yes­ter­day in a crit­i­cal con­di­tion af­ter af­ter his Dae­woo Lacetti, which he was driv­ing west along Ar­madale Road, and a Mit­subishi Out­lander be­ing driven east­ward by a 39-yearold woman col­lided about 10.10pm on Fri­day.

Po­lice said the two ve­hi­cles col­lided af­ter it is be­lieved the man at­tempted to do a U-turn.

Both driv­ers were taken to Royal Perth Hos­pi­tal.

A spokesman for the hos­pi­tal said while the man re­mained in crit­i­cal con­di­tion, the 39-year-old woman was dis­charged yes­ter­day.
