Get­ting cre­ative with do-it-your­self work­shops

Greater Shep­par­ton res­i­dents are in­vited to gain new in­door project skills to or­gan­ise their home and make the most of their week­ends by learn­ing a range of handy D.I.Y. tips at Bun­nings Ware­house Shep­par­ton.

Ev­ery Satur­day and Sun­day through­out Fe­bru­ary, team mem­bers will host free work­shops for chil­dren and adults, and share their ex­pert ad­vice with lo­cal res­i­dents.

The easy to follow D.I.Y. work­shops cover a wide range of help­ful projects in­clud­ing home or­gan­i­sa­tion, kitchen, bath­room and laun­dry ideas, and ba­sic work­shops that aim to pro­vide peo­ple with the skills needed to com­plete projects at home.

Free chil­dren’s D.I.Y. work­shops will also run each week­end through­out Fe­bru­ary and will in­clude craft ac­tiv­i­ties, dress ups and dec­o­rat­ing.

Bun­nings Ware­house Shep­par­ton Com­plex man­ager Mark Galvin said the work­shops were per­fect for peo­ple who were look­ing for home or­gan­i­sa­tion ideas and ba­sic D.I.Y. skills.

‘‘We en­cour­age Greater Shep­par­ton res­i­dents, whether you are a D.I.Y. ex­pert or new to home im­prove­ment, to come in store this month and learn the skills re­quired to com­plete a range of projects around the home,’’ he said.
