Seniors notes:

The Tatura Guardian - - Community - — Kaye Butler

No birthdays last week, but we had 20 members for lunch, and a large number for the games afternoon.

Please don’t forget to put your names down for the pokie trip on Monday, June 29.

There are still plenty of seats as we always get a big bus.

The cost is $10 a head, which includes lunch.

Brian Reeves is still away and enjoying himself in the sunshine up north.

John and Sally Hammond are not so happy, because they are not enjoying all the rain in their chosen part of Queensland.

Ann Causby is heading off to Inverell in NSW for about a week and then on to Gympie in Queensland.

She is driving there on her own to see friends and has never done a solo trip before, so we wish her a safe journey and look forward to seeing her when she returns.

Games results:

Bowls — Frances Britton and Jan Serra. Cards — Jim Hamilton, Edie Russell and Hazel Halls.

Games — Beryl Rollinson and Rose Warburton. Pool — Kevin Richards. Competition — Gwenda Jennings. Raffle (floor lamp) — Dawn Flynn.
