The Tatura Guardian - - News - — Kaye Butler

Wednesday was a very quiet day, with not much news to tell — no birthdays and no trips taken.

We did have a reminder from our president of the safety measures we should take in our homes.

Make sure you get your heater checked each year, not just because you want to be sure it works when you need it, but also to be sure it is not releasing carbon monoxide into your house.

Throw any loose mats you have in the home out. They may take you on an unwanted trip.

A member told us of a story of a loose mat in their car, which got stuck under the accelerator and almost caused an accident.

Brian Reeves is back from his holiday and looking very fit — nice to see him back home again.

Sunny and Kevin (Richards) are away for a short while, they have gone to see family.

Games results:

Games — Fay Alexander, Kaye Butler and Rose Warburton. Pool — Bob Kohlman. Competition — Shirley Tanskanen.
