If you are look­ing for free and fun ac­tiv­i­ties to keep chil­dren oc­cu­pied and happy these school hol­i­days check out the CBD Fun pro­gram pro­vided by Greater Shep­par­ton City Coun­cil and Shep­par­ton Show Me.

Coun­cil is again of­fer­ing free school hol­i­day en­ter­tain­ment over the July school hol­i­days with a pro­gram of fun ac­tiv­i­ties for pri­mary school aged chil­dren in Maude St Mall, Shep­par­ton.

En­ter­tain­ment in­cludes a pi­rate ship jump­ing castle, kite mak­ing, themed slides and gi­ant games.

This year CBD Fun in­cluded a colour­ing com­pe­ti­tion for pri­mary schools with more than 200 en­tries re­ceived so far.

All the art­works will be on dis­play at Bendigo Bank in Fry­ers St, Tar­get in High St, and the Tel­stra shop in the mall.

The win­ners of the com­pe­ti­tion will have their art­work dis­played at the Visi­tor Cen­tre in Nixon St. Win­ners will be no­ti­fied and prizes in­clude Vil­lage Cin­ema kids pack vouch­ers, Aquamoves fam­ily swim passes and Star Bowl vouch­ers.

CBD Fun is a coun­cil man­aged free school hol­i­day pro­gram run three times a year in Maude St Mall in Shep­par­ton’s cen­tral busi­ness dis­trict.

The pro­gram of­fers hands-on pro­grams, en­ter­tain­ment and ac­tiv­i­ties for pri­mary school age chil­dren and is sup­ported by coun­cil’s in­vest­ment at­trac­tion depart­ment and Shep­par­ton Show Me.
