People are being encouraged to nominate childhood professionals and organisations for a Victorian Early Years Award, now in its 11th year.

Labor member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said the awards recognised the crucial work early childhood professionals did to make a difference to the lives of children and families.

The awards span five award categories, including those promoting children’s health and wellbeing, supporting parents, creating collaborative community partnerships, and improving access to early learning.

‘‘Some of Australia’s most talented, passionate and best early years professionals work in Victoria and our early years awards are the opportunity to recognise their amazing work,’’ Ms Symes said.
