Park bur­glary

Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a bur­glary at a Murchi­son East car­a­van park some­time be­tween Fe­bru­ary 26 and March 26.

‘‘Un­known of­fend­ers have cut two pad­locks into a shed where we be­lieve they en­tered and found there was noth­ing of value,’’ Murchi­son po­lice Lead­ing Se­nior Con­sta­ble Ricky Keast said.

Any­one with any in­for­ma­tion, es­pe­cially those in the park, is en­cour­aged to re­lay any in­for­ma­tion they may have to po­lice or crimestop­pers.

Court sum­mons

Po­lice in­ter­cepted an un­reg­is­tered ve­hi­cle on March 25 about 6.15 pm in Ham­mond Rd, Murchi­son.

‘‘Upon speak­ing to a Toolamba man, 33, it was also found that he was driv­ing while dis­qual­i­fied,’’ Murchi­son po­lice Lead­ing Se­nior Con­sta­ble Ricky Keast said.

The man will re­ceive a sum­mons to court at a later date.

Triple whammy

Tatura Po­lice in­ter­cepted a Kyabram woman, 38, on Toolamba Rd, Mooroopna, on March 27 when she was is­sued three tick­ets.

The woman was fined $777 for driv­ing un­li­censed, $777 for driv­ing an un­reg­is­tered ve­hi­cle and $311 for us­ing false num­ber plates.
