RiverCon­nect will be hold­ing a spot­light walk on Thurs­day, April 20, at 6 pm to pro­vide the com­mu­nity with the op­por­tu­nity to see some of the area’s na­tive an­i­mals in their nat­u­ral habi­tat.

There are many noc­tur­nal na­tive species along the rivers, in­clud­ing squir­rel and sugar glid­ers, pos­sums, owls, tawny frog­mouths, kan­ga­roos and wal­la­bies.

RiverCon­nect is of­fer­ing com­mu­nity mem­bers a free guided spot­light night walk along the Goul­burn River to get up close and per­sonal with our na­tive neighbours.

Spot­light Walks are a great ac­tiv­ity for the whole fam­ily.
