Mer­rigum golfers played a stroke round for the Priv­i­lege Cup on Satur­day on an­other cool win­ter day.

Ev­ery­one will surely be look­ing for­ward to the warmer weather that is hope­fully just around the cor­ner now that we are on the cusp of spring.

Golfers also con­tested the least putts spon­sored by Si­mon and Tash Do­herty and a new ini­tia­tive, a se­cret nine spon­sored by Bruce Brown.

Cory Berghofer aka ‘The Hof’ doesn’t play of­ten at the mo­ment but when he does he seems to have the con­sis­tency that all golfers yearn for.

He won on Satur­day with a score of 82-11-71— one bet­ter than his clos­est ri­vals on an­other day when the top three play­ers were clearly more on top of their game than the rest of the field.

Bruce Brown was the run­ner-up af­ter a round of 82-10-72, how­ever he did have to sur­vive a count-
