New venue proves win­ner for mar­ket

Tatura Com­mu­nity House held its sec­ond winter mar­ket re­cently, of­fer­ing a re­prieve fromthe cold for lo­cals.

Held in the new venue of St Mary’s Hall in Ho­gan St, the Win­terMar­ket took place on Satur­day, August 26.

Tatura Com­mu­nity House man­ager Leeane But­ton has en­cour­aged the com­mu­nity to make sure they head along to the next mar­ket in September as warmer weather ap­proaches.

‘‘It’s the per­fect time to get out and about and en­joy spring sunshine,’’ she said.

The mar­ket will be held on Satur­day, September 23, from9 am to 1 pm at St Mary’s Hall.

‘‘We’ll have the usual demon­stra­tions, food, pro­duce, craft and fam­ily fun,’’ she said.
