En­ter steps chal­lenge

Reg­is­tra­tions are now open for this year’s Cor­po­rate Pe­dome­ter Chal­lenge.

A part­ner­ship be­tween Greater Shep­par­ton City Coun­cil, Goul­burn Val­ley Health, Shep­par­ton Re­tire­ment Vil­lages and Fam­i­lyCare, the chal­lenge will of­fi­cially be­gin on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 2.

This year will see par­tic­i­pants se­lect one of three char­i­ties to sup­port by do­nat­ing their en­try fee.

Par­tic­i­pants can choose from GV Health, Shep­par­ton Re­tire­ment Vil­lages and Sport­ing Chance — a part­ner­ship pro­gram from Greater Shep­par­ton City Coun­cil and Fam­i­lyCare.

An of­fi­cial launch for the chal­lenge was held at Vic­to­ria Park Lake yes­ter­day, which was at­tended by Greater Shep­par­ton City Coun­cil chief ex­ec­u­tive Peter Har­riott, Shep­par­ton Vil­lages chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Kerri Rivett and GV Health Foun­da­tion Di­rec­tor Carmel John­son.
