Ute stolen

Po­lice are ap­peal­ing to the pub­lic for in­for­ma­tion fol­low­ing the theft of a white 2016 Isuzu DMAX ute from Seven Creeks Es­tate, Kialla, on Mon­day night.

‘‘The of­fender/s were then un­suc­cess­ful when they used the ve­hi­cle in a failed at­tempt to ram ac­cess into a Tatura Su­per­mar­ket in the early hours of (Tues­day) morn­ing,’’ the Greater Shep­par­ton Eye­watch page re­ported.

Po­lice the store bol­lards suc­cess­fully re­pelled the ve­hi­cle and they were search­ing for a ve­hi­cle with rear-end dam­age, in­clud­ing a bro­ken tail­light.

Caught speed­ing

A Shep­par­ton man, 33, was caught speed­ing north along Mooroop­naMurchi­son Rd, Tatura, on Mon­day night last week.

Tatura po­lice said the mo­tor­cy­cle rider was al­leged to have been trav­el­ling at 121 km/h in a 100 km/h zone about 5.30 pm.

He was fined $317 and gained three de­merit points.
