Pure oils workshop

The Tatura Guardian - - News - To register, visit:

Josephine Ford from Natural Oils with Josephine is running a free ‘summertime holiday essentials workshop’ at the Tatura Community House at 1 pm on Saturday, December 9.

Ms Ford, who is a retired theatre nurse, will discuss the many uses of pure oils from Doterra, such as creating a natural mosquito repellent, cleaning products or a skin-soothing shaving cream for men.

‘‘I want to empower and educate people in how to use the many capabilities of pure oils,’’ Ms Ford said.

‘‘I use them in conjunction with medications and believe it has helped my health.

‘‘You can use these oils for cleaning and most of them can be used for cooking; they’re not just a pretty smell.

‘‘For example peppermint oil is great for deterring spiders while lemon or orange oil is great for cleaning.’’

Ms Ford said oils could be used to help relax and calm adults and children and also boost our immune system.

There are only 20 places available for the Saturday workshop and bookings are essential through eventbrite.

Ms Ford said next year she was planning to run monthly classes in Tatura and was also happy to do one-on-one classes by appointment.
