The sec­ond round of the four­somes cham­pi­onship, spon­sored by Shop­pers De­light, was played in cold con­di­tions.

Lyn Flett and Di Bal­lan­tyne played well to­gether to win the day with 75.5 nett.

Bev Roberts and Sh­eryl Curran played con­sis­tently for both rounds with a win in the first round and run­ner-up in the sec­ond round with 76.5 nett.

Win­ners of the cham­pi­onship for both scratch and hand­i­cap will be an­nounced on pre­sen­ta­tion day later in the year.

Ball win­ners: Janette Hayward/Colleen Johns, Sue Turn­bull/Elaine Dunk 78.5 nett.

Nine-hole stable­ford com­pe­ti­tion: Helen Wil­liams won the event with 17 points.

Hill Top Golf Club was well rep­re­sented by our girls trav­el­ling to Rich River Golf Club yes­ter­day to com­pete in the GMGA Edna Star­ritt 4BBB event.
