On Satur­day, July 28, eight mem­bers and one grand­child en­joyed a free three-course lunch at the clu­b­rooms.

Pump­kin, potato and ba­con soup, hot saveloys and bread, fol­lowed by ap­ple crum­ble and cream.

Six mem­bers stayed to play bowls.

Fri­day, Au­gust 3, was the birth­day of Mar­ion John­son, best wishes to you.

Wed­nes­day, Au­gust 1, we had 17 mem­bers for lunch and 25 peo­ple at­tend the af­ter­noon ac­tiv­i­ties. Many happy re­turns to Mar­lene Pen­gelly. Mar­lene has fin­ished her cur­rent treat­ments and is re­ally look­ing well. Here’s hop­ing it’s over with. This week on Au­gust 8 is com­mit­tee meet­ing morn­ing at 10.30 am sharp, fol­lowed by our lun­cheon and af­ter­noon ac­tiv­i­ties.
