Tatura 62 d Mans­field 24

A con­sis­tent four quar­ters re­sulted in the Tatura A-grade team have its eighth win for the sea­son.

Roey Walls worked tire­lessly with great drives and feed­ing into the goal cir­cle, with both goalers — Brylee and Danielle — shoot­ing ac­cu­rately and fin­ish­ing off the great work of de­fend­ers Emma Ryan and Molly Boyle who in­ter­cepted any­thing that came their way.

Maddi Davis had a great game at wing de­fence dur­ing the third quar­ter when Tatura re­stricted Mans­field to two goals while shoot­ing 16.

In the last quar­ter Tatura shot 16 goals to 10 which saw it bring home a fan­tas­tic vic­tory by 38 goals.

Tatura 20 lt Mans­field 43

Tatura had a good open­ing quar­ter with the all play­ers putting pres­sure on their Mans­field op­po­si­tion.

Jade Kay was ac­cu­rate in the goal ring while Rachel Thomson pro­vided plenty of drive down the court and clean feed­ing into Tatura’s goalers, while at the other end of the court Kobi Worner put great pres­sure on the Mans­field goalers, which saw Tatura have a one-goal lead at quar­ter-time.

How­ever af­ter quar­ter-time Mans­field lifted its in­ten­sity and ran away with the game, scor­ing 38 goals to Tatura’s 14, re­sult­ing in Mans­field’s 23-goal win.

Tatura 25 lt Mans­field 38

Tatura had a slow start which al­lowed the Ea­gles to spread their wings.

The Tatura girls found their bite in the sec­ond half and matched it with Mans­field for the re­main­der of the game. Han­nah Watt was con­sis­tent all day and Lara Hapourna pro­vided plenty of drive down the court. Sarah Casey and Beth Sec­cull fought hard in what was a hard day in the goal ring, but un­for­tu­nately Mans­field was just too strong.

17 and un­der

Tatura 60 d Mans­field 41

A 20-goal open­ing quar­ter set up the game for the girls. The sec­ond quar­ter was a quiet one, but the girls came home for a strong sec­ond half. Goal shooter Olivia Vraca and Stephanie Hicks at goal at­tack proved a force to be reck­oned with and cap­i­talised at ev­ery op­por­tu­nity. Maddy Hall fed the girls beau­ti­fully all day and had the coaches gasp­ing with those big long bombs into the goal ring. Best play­ers: Olivia Vraca, Stephanie Hicks, Maddy Hall.

Tatura 63 d Mans­field 19

Tatura ap­plied pres­sure from the first whis­tle and the goalers cap­i­talised on the score­board from am­ple pos­ses­sions. The mid­court play­ers dis­played good skills and moved the ball well through the court, while the de­fend­ers ap­plied pres­sure on op­po­si­tion goalers and cre­ated many turnovers. Po­si­tional changes didn’t im­bal­ance the team, which went on for a good win lead­ing into fi­nals netball. Best play­ers: Jerry Ha­purona, Re­becca Valentin, Elsie Boyer.
