There is some­thing in the wa­ter at Tatura with no less than three lo­cals run­ning for a seat in state par­lia­ment next month.

The main known cause of the can­di­dacy is pas­sion and com­mit­ment for giv­ing smaller towns a say in the re­gion.

The three lo­cal state elec­tion can­di­dates met up for a chat at the Tatura Ho­tel last week.

Bill Heath, Josh Hud­son and Nic­kee Free­man all have a strong con­nec­tion to Tatura and be­lieve in cre­at­ing a pos­i­tive fu­ture for the whole re­gion.

The La­bor can­di­date for Shep­par­ton, Mr Heath said there was not any rea­son why po­lit­i­cal lead­ers should not be com­ing from Tatura.
