There is something in the water at Tatura with no less than three locals running for a seat in state parliament next month.
The main known cause of the candidacy is passion and commitment for giving smaller towns a say in the region.
The three local state election candidates met up for a chat at the Tatura Hotel last week.
Bill Heath, Josh Hudson and Nickee Freeman all have a strong connection to Tatura and believe in creating a positive future for the whole region.
The Labor candidate for Shepparton, Mr Heath said there was not any reason why political leaders should not be coming from Tatura.
