The Tatura Guardian - - News -

The following day club treasurer, Cpl Tim Pratt and Mr Price attended the event in Tatura and presented the family with an engraved port decanter fromall the members of the Robert Mactier VC Club and a bottle of the limitededition vintage port to the RSL.

‘‘To attend this event after 12 months of planning, attending the Tatura event as official guests of the RSL to lay a wreath on behalf of the members was very moving (and) we were keen to meet the wider Mactier family and continue our connection with them,’’ Mr Price said.

‘‘With more events planned into the future we hope the Mactier family can once again come back to the club to share family tales of Robert as a boy/young man and see that his legacy truly does live on in the hearts and minds of young members of the Defence Signals Community.’’
