The Simpsons, 7.30pm, Ten Do not miss the opening minutes of this episode, where the Simpsons end up on the couch together. Homer evolves from pond scum and lives through most of human history in a minute and a half. Kind of Star Trek ? Wait until you get a load of Marge’s re- creation of the season finale party for the end of StarTrek Voyager . ‘‘ Oh Captain Janeway,’’ wails Homer, ‘‘ your mission ended too soon!’’ Doctor Hibberd looks terrific as Tuvok in his yellow Starfleet uniform and Vulcan ears, but Lenny takes the biscuit in his catsuit and Seven of Nine pumps. Inside The Actor’s Studio: Naomi Watts, 9.30pm, Bio Host James Lipton introduces locally raised lass Naomi Watts, pictured, who lived in London for the first eight years of her life. She manages to be delightfully entertaining in spite of the tedious Lipton interview style. Must he sound as if he’s conducting an oral examination in front of his students? Interesting subject, boring interviewer. Hot Docs: Sugar Town: The Bridegrooms, 10pm Traditionally, women can leave Greek villages to search for a career and possibly marriage in the big cities, but men cannot. They inherit the land and so, in theory, must remain village bound. The mayor promises the men wives as part of his re- election campaign. Nobody knows how he will do this. ‘‘ Women are not goats, they cannot be herded from the next village,’’ offers insightful Kadafi, a local coffee shop owner.
