But really, folks, all that pales into insignificance this weekend with the Tour de France starting tonight. There’s live coverage on SBS of the prologue from the heart of London from 11.50pm in all markets except Western Australia, where it starts at 11pm. Tomorrow’s coverage of stage one, which kicks in at the earlier time of 10.30pm for Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen’s call of the great race, will show riders heading off from London to Canterbury. In soccer, the Socceroos’ Asian Cup gets under way tomorrow night against minnows Oman; catch the action live on FS2 from 8pm.
