The Worst Jobs in History, 7.30pm, ABC

Tony Robinson, whom we last saw in Me & My Mum, tonight takes on the worst jobs of the Georgians, those purveyors of the golden age of English art. But the sight of the slightly simian Robinson butt naked as an artist’s model was too much for me. ‘‘ Tony is a god. He is Apollo, he is Hercules, he is whatever you want him to be,’’ museum curator Martin Postle says. I just wanted him to get dressed.

DIY RIP, 8pm, LifeStyle

Britain’s do- it- yourself sector is in trouble. The country’s largest DIY retailer, B& Q ( think Bunnings of Britain) is suffering falling sales. Could it be DIY is losing the battle to GSI ( getting someone in)? Why are stores such as Ikea booming if people don’t want to do traditional renovations themselves? And can host Libby Potter take her eyes off the workman’s derriere? Brit- centric, but fun.
