Film: The 1972 doc­u­men­tary Morn­ing of the Earth is one of the most pop­u­lar surf films. Di­rected by Al­bert Fal­zon, it fea­tures laid- back surfers in search of the per­fect wave across Aus­tralia’s north­east coast, Bali and Hawaii. This con­cert fea­tures the sound­track played live to the film: Lior and Old Man River per­form with orig­i­nal pro­ducer G. Wayne Thomas, singer- song­writer Brian Cadd and Ta­mam Shud gui­tarist Tim Gaze, with guest vo­cal­ist Mike Rudd ( Spec­trum). The State The­atre, tonight and to­mor­row. Book­ings: 136 100.
