Ultimate Armoured Car: The Presidential Beast

The Weekend Australian - Review - - Television -

Thursday, 9.30pm, Turbo Max If you are the type who lies awake at night wondering how to make your car more secure, this is the show for you. However, if you are expecting, as I was, a program about the vehicle known as the Beast, designed to keep the leader of the free world safe, then you’re out of luck. Despite the title, this is about a bunch of dudes who go about creating the ultimate armoured car inspired by the presidential beast. Think Mythbusters without the personalities, and think the backyard manufacture of armour plating that can withstand almost every weapon thrown at it. And yes, think The Green Hornet as well.
