Saturday, 1pm, 13th Street For a policewoman, Detective Jessica King (Amy Price-Francis) is hot. Not in a supermodel-stuck-in-the-wrong-job sort of way, more in her depth of confidence through experience (eight years as a homicide detective before becoming head of the Major Crimes Task Force in Toronto), and in her obsession with fabulous shoes. Jess knows what she wants, and after landing hunky husband Danny Sless (Gabriel Hogan), an officer with the Guns and Gangs squad who seems to take his shirt off far more frequently than he needs to, she is now pregnant with their first child. The rest of it is fairly typical police procedural stuff, but the two sexy leads regularly steam up the screen. Don’t get too used to it, though. This second season is the last.
