Robot and Monster

The Weekend Australian - Review - - Television -

Friday, 4pm, Nickelodeon If we’re going to talk about programs for emotional 12-year-olds, let’s look at something actually designed for kids. I found Robot and Monster strangely liberating. Though it has a cast of mechanicals and organics, absolutely everyone loves bacon. In this luridly colourful children’s universe, there is no need to explain how robots digest the stuff. They just do. The heart of the program is the solid friendship between organic Monster and his best pal Robot. The happy pair might inspire a great sci-fi writer of the future.
