Wed­nes­day, 8.30pm, Nine How many times did we see the promo for Ar­row in which Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) trained for his new role as a su­per­hero by throw­ing his chin­ning bar up a rack, rung by rung. Don’t try that at home, by the way. Then Ar­row van­ished be­cause the hon­chos at Nine had a change of heart about its start date. Now it’s back, if any­one still cares. When will net­works learn that view­ers need to be treated with a lit­tle re­spect and that prom­ises need to be hon­oured if loy­alty is to be forth­com­ing? I di­gress. Un­for­tu­nately, the best thing about Ar­row is Amell’s abs. The lat­est in a long line of DC comics to be brought to flesh and blood, Ar­row, based on the Green Ar­row comics, just doesn’t get there. If you threw The Green Hor­net, Iron Man, Re­venge, Lost
