Mon­day, 8.30pm, BBC Knowl­edge If you missed the episode of the pop­u­lar ge­neal­ogy se­ries fea­tur­ing TV’s man of the mo­ment Shaun Mi­callef (Mad as Hell, Mr & Mrs Mur­der) when it was shown re­cently on SBS, here is your sec­ond chance. It is some­times hard for peo­ple to drop their ‘‘ al­ways on’’ comic per­sona when they take part in re­al­ity pro­grams, but Mi­callef man­ages to doff that hat pretty well. Yet even as him­self he is com­i­cally en­ter­tain­ing. Just watch him stum­ble along the beach with his dog. Even so there are few signs of the smar­tarse we all know and love from Mad as Hell. It’s great to see Mi­callef typ­ing at the win­dow of the front room of his mod­est house, to meet his mum and dad, and to learn that there is more to the man than wise­cracks.
