Thurs­day, 8.30pm, Stu­dio You may re­mem­ber Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe in 10 sea­sons of Friends. In this se­ries, which Kudrow cre­ated, co-wrote and co-ex­ec­u­tive pro­duced, she plays kooky psy­chother­a­pist Dr Fiona Wal­lice. Fiona likes to save money on over­heads by see­ing her clients on con­fer­ence calls. In this de­but episode she gets hus­band Kip (Vic­tor Gar­ber, Argo, Milk ) to test the tech­nol­ogy, even though he is sit­ting in the room be­side her. ‘‘ You’re ei­ther not as un­happy as you think, or you are a ter­rific coward and weak­ling and don’t know how to take care of your­self at all,’’ she tells him. ‘‘ Oth­er­wise you would have left.’’ In ex­actly three min­utes, from her point of view, his prob­lems are solved. Fur­ther three-minute ses­sions, all equally un­sat­is­fy­ing for clients, fol­low. It’s not ex­actly In Treat­ment but Web Ther­apy is many times bet­ter than LA Shrinks, re­viewed last week. In three min­utes. Web Ther­apy was re­cently re­newed for a third sea­son, ex­pected on US screens in July.
