Wild Life at the Zoo

The Weekend Australian - Review - - Television -

Friday, 8pm, ABC1 What strange creatures fennec foxes are. The males are all sweetness and light when it comes to looking after cubs but the mothers are psycho bitches. According to a keeper in this series about the animals at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo, there is a 70 per cent chance the mother in the zoo’s breeding pair will eat her own babies. The total opposite of brown bears, then, whose fathers definitely cannot be trusted with their cubs. Ah, nature. Where would we be without it, eh?
