Winners & Losers

The Weekend Australian - Review - - Television -

Tuesday, 8.45pm, Seven I lost touch with Winners & Losers when it was still a daffy little Rafters- like show about a bunch of old school friends who won the lottery. This third season return demonstrates that the show has morphed into something other, a program in which guns are pulled on pretty girls and people drop power tools in pools of fuel and blow themselves to smithereens. It is as if the writers have been hanging out on the set of Underbelly. So, in keeping with bigger dramatic stakes, including immolations, physical violence and gun attacks, it may be time to give Winners &

Losers another shot.
