Reza’s African Kitchen

The Weekend Australian - Review - - Television -

Wednesday, 7.30pm, LifeStyle Food On his website, Reza Mahammad writes that he was born in England to Indian parents and sent off to India to be educated. He says this left him speaking English with a public school accent and Hindi with an English accent. Well that accounts, surely, for his distinctly odd speech pattern. With a CV of cooking shows including Delhi Belly, Coconut Coast, United States of Reza and A Place in France behind him, in this one Mahammad takes on subSaharan Africa. Yes, our man is out to plumb the diverse cuisines of Namibia, Zambia, Botswana, South Africa and Zanzibar. His inherent flamboyance takes a bit of getting used to but lovers of cooking and travel shows will lap this up.
