Wednesday, 8.30pm, Ten Anything starring Asher Keddie usually grabs my attention, but this Australian goodie for some reason passed me by until recently. Originally conceived by Debra Oswald as a two-hour special in 2010, it so impressed Ten’s bosses that instead it was made into a series. Now in its fourth season and shown in 10 countries including Russia and Israel, it has won a truckload of awards. Centred on young obstetrician Nina Proudman (Keddie) and her family, it follows a theme familiar to many a modern household: how to juggle the pressures of daily life. Tonight, Billie Proudman (Kat Stewart) faces problems after a big night out.
