Tues­day, 6pm, SBS One One of the many rea­sons Lon­don is such a joy to visit is its so­phis­ti­cated pro­grams for tourists. There’s a plethora of ac­tiv­i­ties made ac­ces­si­ble by in­for­ma­tion kiosks dot­ted at strate­gic lo­ca­tions and loads of pam­phlets spell­ing out what’s on of­fer. And there’s a lot. Guided walk­ing tours have be­come es­pe­cially pop­u­lar; they’re cer­tainly the best way to learn about a city. Here, Katy Haswell leads a tour through the his­toric city of West­min­ster. As she walks from Trafal­gar Square, White­hall and the Royal Horse Guards to the Lon­don Eye she shares lo­cal myths, gossip and leg­ends as well as in­ter­est­ing facts.
