Fri­day, 7pm, Stu­dio He may be 65 but the god­fa­ther of shock rock, Alice Cooper, can still pull in an au­di­ence with his of­ten macabre stage per­for­mances that can fea­ture guil­lotines, elec­tric chairs, fake blood and boa con­stric­tors. Not your thing? Then best find some­thing else to do for the next 90 min­utes. Good grief, that is a long time. Tonight Alice is wow­ing the au­di­ence at the an­nual AVO Ses­sion in­door fes­ti­val in Basel, Switzer­land, with mu­sic from his Wel­come 2 My Night­mare al­bum made in 2011. Alice co-wrote the 13 songs as a se­quel to Wel­come to My Night­mare. The fes­ti­val, now in its 28th year, is one of the most pop­u­lar in Europe. Pre­vi­ous acts in­clude Bob Geldof, Ray Charles, James Brown, Deep Pur­ple, Lionel Richie and El­ton John.
