Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare
Friday, 7pm, Studio He may be 65 but the godfather of shock rock, Alice Cooper, can still pull in an audience with his often macabre stage performances that can feature guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood and boa constrictors. Not your thing? Then best find something else to do for the next 90 minutes. Good grief, that is a long time. Tonight Alice is wowing the audience at the annual AVO Session indoor festival in Basel, Switzerland, with music from his Welcome 2 My Nightmare album made in 2011. Alice co-wrote the 13 songs as a sequel to Welcome to My Nightmare. The festival, now in its 28th year, is one of the most popular in Europe. Previous acts include Bob Geldof, Ray Charles, James Brown, Deep Purple, Lionel Richie and Elton John.
