Prince Harry: Frontline Afghanistan
Saturday, 9.25pm, BBC Knowledge This documentary was made in 2008 but it’s still interesting to see how a young royal copes in a war zone. It can’t be easy, especially when you know the enemy has put a price on your head and your peers are scrutinising every move you make. Aged 24, Harry spent two months in Afghanistan. Back home, he trained as an Apache helicopter pilot and returned to Afghanistan last year. In this documentary, made with the blessing of Britain’s Ministry of Defence, Prince Harry says he’d rather be known as Captain Wales.
