Big School

The Weekend Australian - Review - - Television -

Tuesday, 8.30pm, Nine This situation comedy went to air in Britain in August and ended six episodes later last month. Who knows if there’ll be another round. It’s set in Greylands School where the staff could be called dysfunctional and the students bored, when they’re not tweeting and texting. The two main characters are Mr Church, played by David Walliams ( Little Britain, Come Fly With Me), a socially inept chemistry teacher, and his love interest, French teacher Miss Postern, played by Catherine Tate ( Doctor Who, The Office). In this second episode, the school holds a staff talent show although talent is pretty thin interpretation of what they have to offer.
