The Bourne Identity

The Weekend Australian - Review - - Television -

Friday, 8.30pm, Seven A good one to end the week. In this gripping 2002 movie based on the book by Robert Ludlam, Italian fishermen find Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) floating in the water near Marseille. He has two bullet wounds in his back and a tiny gizmo with details of a Swiss safety deposit box implanted in his hip. But Bourne has no memory. He learns pretty quickly that the CIA is after him and so begins a desperate race across Europe to find some answers. Three sequels followed: The Bourne Supremacy in 2004, The Bourne Ultimatum in 2007 and The Bourne Legacy last year — the last film without Damon.
