Fri­day, 9.30pm, Stu­dio Gui­tarist Ron­nie Wood’s ca­reer be­gan in 1964 when he joined the Birds and hopped from band to band un­til his old mate Keith Richards in­vited him to join the Rolling Stones in 1974. He’s a man of many tal­ents: bet you didn’t know he’s a dab hand with a paint­brush and pen­cil. His paint­ings, draw­ings and prints have been ex­hib­ited all over the world. Sev­eral — in­clud­ing a work com­mis­sioned by An­drew Lloyd-Web­ber — are dis­played at Lon­don’s Drury Lane The­atre. Through his mu­sic and art Wood, 66, has be­come some­thing of a leg­end and has no trou­ble get­ting old chums to join him for an im­promptu jam ses­sion and a chat about the hairy days of rock ‘ n’ roll. Here, Alice Cooper joins him for a dose of nos­tal­gia.
