Medical breakthroughs have enabled doctors to replace some of the most complex parts of the human body, but how far can research take us? And, in a world first, a team of interdisciplinary experts builds a bionic man using nearly $1m worth of state-of-the-art limbs and organs, the products of billions of dollars of research. The result is on display at London’s Science Museum.
