In this two-part series, psychologist Bertolt Meyer, whose has had a prosthetic arm since the age of three months, meets experts from around the world to find out just how far this cuttingedge technology can go. Medical breakthroughs have enabled doctors to replace some of the most complex parts of the human body, but how far can research take us? And, in a world first, a team of interdisciplinary experts builds a bionic man using nearly $1m worth of state-of-the-art limbs and organs, the products of billions of dollars of research. The result is on display at London’s Science Museum.
