Saturday, 5.30pm, History Charles, the son of pioneering aviator Charles Lindbergh, was 20 months old when he was kidnapped from his bedroom in Hopewell, New Jersey on March 1, 1932. His body was found 8km away. Carpenter Bruno Richard Hauptmann was tried and executed in 1936 aged 36. But many people believe he was innocent.
