The Aliens American playwright Annie Baker has been mentioned in the same breath as Chekhov and it’s a comparison that has merit. Baker, 34, delicately probes beneath the surface of apparently ordinary and often fragile lives to unearth the struggle and the wonder of life. At Sydney’s Old Fitz Theatre, Outhouse Theatre Co gives Baker’s The Aliens (2010) a luminous production. La Traviata Little Big Shots In its 10th year, Little Big Shots includes local and international children’s shorts, animations, documentaries and childproduced films that explore themes of language, cultural diversity and humanity.
