Another Nordic psychological thriller to hook you in. Businessman Aksel Borgen (Nicolai Cleve Broch) returns to his hometown in rural Norway after 20 years working in Asia. His goal is to rescue the town’s biggest company, Solar Tech, which is about to go down the gurgler. That’s not his only problem. He left Norway after being acquitted of his high-school sweetheart’s murder, but the ghosts linger. Not everyone, least of all his mother, is pleased to have him back. No one was ever convicted and he remains guilty in a lot of people’s eyes. The 10-part series broke ratings records when it aired in Norway and Sweden earlier this year.
