The Supervet

The Weekend Australian - Review - - Television -

Shot last year at a vet clinic in Eashing, Surrey, Christmas in the Clinic depicts some of the most difficult cases to have walked, or been carried, through the door. Noel Fitzpatrick is an Irish neuro-orthopedic veterinary surgeon who’s a “last resort” for many pets whose circumstances are life-threatening. In this special, he catches up with patients who have benefited from his pioneering techniques and inventions. There’s Jasper, the puppy with deformed legs, cat Pixie, who was hit by a car, and Scooby the labrador x that lost a leg to bone cancer. It’s a tear-jerker, so be prepared, especially when Fievel, a 16-monthold labrador that needed a double hip replacements, turns out to have other problems.
