Archibald Prize 2016 This year’s Archibald Prize was won by Mel­bourne-based Louise Hear­man for her por­trait of co­me­dian, satirist and ac­tor Barry Humphries. The Pack­ing Room prize was awarded to first-time Archibald en­trant Betina Fau­vel-Og­den for her por­trait of celebrity chef and MasterChef judge Ge­orge Calom­baris. These paint­ings, along­side the 50 fi­nal­ists, will be dis­played at the Art Gallery of NSW for three months be­fore trav­el­ling the coun­try.
