A History of the World in 100 Objects This exhibition is based on a series of radio broadcasts produced in 2010 by the then head of the British Museum, Neil MacGregor. The pieces, each originally discussed individually and in detail, were gathered together as an exhibition that has since toured internationally in modified form.
