Little Men (PG) Two 13-year-old boys are at the centre of this New York-set film: Jake (Theo Taplitz) and Antonio (Michael Barbieri), who become close friends when the Jardine family moves to Brooklyn. They are indeed little men, or men-to-be, coming to grips with their identity, with sexuality, with being able to love other people and with the adult world in general. The title is a nod to Louisa May Alcott’s novel Little Women, about four sisters moving into adulthood.
