Three siblings count up the money they have saved for their holidays. Anne has $30 less than Carl. Bob has $40 less than Ann. If Ann and Bob pool their money they have $1160. If Carl donates a third of his, how much will Ann and Bob have? Each symbol represents a different digit from 1 to 9. The sum of the digits in each row and column is shown. Can you work out which digit each symbol stands for? When you have replaced each symbol in the square, find the sum of the numbers along the diagonal line that starts in the top left-hand corner.
